We all believe that education is the key to success in the development of our nation. India can be a developed country if the rate of illiteracy and poverty comes down. Let us try to bring down the rate of illiteracy and create a scope for India to improve. Not only the definition of illiteracy means “loss” but to us :- it’s the root of the poverty; crime and lost productivity in our cities. We want to create an awareness of this problem: how illiteracy relates to youth and educate them to help solve the problem. Illiteracy exists in India and the percentages of illiterate children in India are much higher. Many people assume that illiterate youth are concentrated in smaller towns with troubled schools and colleges although this may be true in some cases, there are larger cities and metros where illiterate youth are overlooked.

Our Mission

WHAT'S OUR GOAL

Macle is a merger of three distinct objectives: Enlighten, Elevate, Emancipate. These three objectives are achieved simultaneously in the orphanages/schools holding hands with us, students. We focus on teaching English and other subjects to children in various orphanages and rural areas. English speaking is the most common problem in countries like India where English is not the first language. We started a non profit organisation known as Macle to address the needs of these children.

Macle is an entirely student run organization and we are proud to say that we built it from scratch. We are looking forward to work with students/people who have similar mindset and youth are interested to join hands with us. Let us contribute and give something back to the society we grew up in.

We all believe that education is the key to success in the development of our nation. India can be a developed country if the rate of illiteracy and poverty come down. Let us try to bring down the rate of illiteracy and create a scope for India to improve.

Elevate turns around the illiterates to face various traditional issues and other apprehensions. We are trying to build the kids to be outgoing and to stand up against challenges at a young learning age.

Emancipate is the last objective where we want to expand operations to achieve its ambitious goal, reducing the escalating number of high school dropouts. As per studies on an average for every 26 seconds a student is giving up on high school and in order to curb the alarming dropout rate we started the pre-eminent volunteer youth service organization, Macle in Hyderabad. It unites young people of all backgrounds to render services in underprivileged schools/orphanages across the city for a minimum of one year as tutors, mentors and role models to help children stay in school by improving attendance, behaviour and course performance.
